Show review: The Bachelor, After the Final Rose

Well, dear readers, it's been a lovely ride.  I hope you know by now that Vanessa won Nick's heart.  Tonight we find out how that's been going as well as the very important never happened in history event that Chris has been teasing us with.

Chris seems as skeptical as us with the unanswered questions.  Hit 'em hard Chris!  As much as I really want to like Chris, I think fame has gotten to him.  Yes, Chris, your role is lame.  However, I'm betting you make a gazillion dollars with your lame show.

Nick:  Nick first comes out on his own.  He says he's happy, he's good.  It's boring.

Raven:  Raven's up first.  She has so much eye makeup on.  It's a boring conversation and she's very gracious to Nick.  Raven would be awesome on BIP.  Yay!  She's in!  I guess the store can run itself.

Vanessa:  Vanessa comes out and confirms that she's never watched a full season, which would have helped.  She struggles to say anything positive about their relationship.  Sweetie--you've been together a few months?  It's really not supposed to be this challenging.  I mean yes, it's a weird setup.   Your "boyfriend" is dating other people.  But if you can get past that, it's really not supposed to be that hard.  Really.

Vanessa and Nick:  Chris makes things extra awkward by asking Nick if he's worried about things not working out.  Nick gives a vague answer.  Chris keeps asking different versions of this question over and over, making things increasingly uncomfortable.

Rachel:  They fill the rest of the time talking to Rachel and promoting her upcoming season of the Bachelorette.  Despite evidence to the contrary, Chris says the process works.  It's unclear how he's defining "works".  I assume he's focused on the Bachelorette aspect, which is mildly more successful.  The big "surprise" is some of the suitors are revealed at the show.  Does anybody care about this?

That's it all--see you in May.  At the very least it will be just that much closer to BIP!
